DRUG FREE DECLARATION, CONDITIONS & RULES OF ENTRY

I hereby state that I have not used Anabolic Steroids, Growth Hormones or other performance enhancing substances as listed in the WADA Prohibited List available on https://drugfreesport.org.nz

I agree, when requested, to supply a urine sample under the testing conditions laid down by the INBA NZ or other relevant testing agency at these Championships for the purpose of testing for prohibited substances.

I hereby also to agree that should my test return a positive result for any reason, I will reimburse INBA NZ the costs incurred in conducting these tests up to a value of $1000.00

1/ These Championships are open to all athletes, regardless of affiliation, who have not used Anabolic Steroids, Growth Hormone or similar substances for the purpose of improving their physique since the first day of January 2014.

2/ All entrants will be eligible for testing. All entrants MUST supply a urine sample if requested for testing at any time under the conditions laid down by the INBA NZ or the relevant testing agency. Failure to comply will be deemed an automatic refusal and therefore the same penalty as a positive result.

3/ Contestants agree to their name and photo being published in the INBA NZ website in the Hall of shame if they produce a positive drug test.

3/ Contestants, on entering these Championships agree to their names being entered into a register compiled by the INBA NZ for the purpose of random drug testing outside of competition.

4/ Entrants in age related divisions i.e. Teenage, Junior, Masters, Senior must supply proof of age, if requested, on the day of competition.

5/ All contestants must be financial members of the INBA NZ.

6/ Late entry to a show has an extra $50 payment.

7/ All entrants MUST complete and sign this Drug FREE Declaration and are bound by the terms and conditions of these forms.

9/ The INBA NZ, its Officers, Judges, President or Members, Promoters and Sponsors will not be held responsible or liable for any repercussions resulting from the return of any positive drug result.

Height Divisions for Novice and Open Classes

Women: Short: up to and including 1.65m         Tall: Over 1.65m

Men: Short: Up to and including 1.75m              Tall: Over 1.75m

 

Qualifications for Novice and Open status

Open: A contestant is considered an Open competitor if they have won a Regional contest with a minimum of three contestants in their Class or if they have placed in the top three in any National competition with a minimum of three contestants in their Class in any organisation.

Age Divisions

Teenage - under 19 years of age on 1st January of the year of Competition.

Junior - Under 23 years of age on 1st January of the year of Competition

Masters Men or Senior Women 40 Plus - Over 40 years of age on the day of competition.

Grand Masters Men or Senior Women 50 Plus - Over 50 years of age on the day of competition.

Ultra Grand Masters - Over 60 years of age on the day of competition.

Veteran Grand Masters - Over 70 years of age on the day of competition.

Note: Contestants may only enter the division which relates to their actual age. i.e.: a contestant who qualifies for the Grand Masters must compete in that division and not elect to compete in the Masters 40 Plus despite being over 40 years of age.

Age related contestants are eligible to compete in non-age related divisions such as "Novice" or "Open" as long as they qualify for these divisions.

Contestants who have competed in competitions run by other organisations must take any placings they have into consideration of their status.

 

I hereby agree and consent to the use of any photographs, video recordings or other recorded images taken or recorded at this event by the INBA NZ, Fit Figures, or any of their agents or representatives, in any magazine, broadcast transmission, or any other printed or electronic media for the purpose of promoting or advertising this or future events, the INBA or their sponsors.

I have read and understood this Drug Free Declaration, Conditions and Rules of Entry and enter these Championships in accordance with their terms.

I agree to sign this at Athletes registration.

I understand that on payment of $100 Annual Membership Fee apply to join the INBA NZ as an Associate Member for 12 months allowing me to compete in any competition organised or sanctioned by the INBA NZ or their Affiliates while still a Member. I understand that my membership in the INBA NZ does not restrict my right to compete in any competition or event organised or conducted by any other organisation.
